Pupuseria Las Palmas

Located in the back of the Rocky Mart, Pupuseria Las Palmas serves up hot, yummy pupusas, the under-promoted Honduran/Salvadorantreat. We tried the chicharrón and frijol con queso. Wowsa. Get a couple and dress them up with homemade curtido and ENJOY. Also, you cannot find this place on the world wide web which tickles us! IHY tip: if pupusas are new to you, head over to Don Mateo in Tieton to further indulge.

Rocky Mart Indian Food

Rocky Mart Indian Food wins on so many levels. First, you don’t know they have Indian food until you’re paying for your gas and snacks. (On the pillar next to the register, there is a modest 8x10 menu.) There are only a few dishes, and we suggest having a party and ordering them all for folks to try. Get extra naan. Second, owner and chef, Tina Kaur, calls you hon and takes such sweet care of you and the food, you’ll want to hug her. Lastly, hot naan + lentils + basmati rice = LOVE.

Texaco Teriyaki

More than a few strangers and friends recommended the teriyaki at the Texaco by the airport. It did not disappoint. It's comfort food to-the-max, and they clearly have a following. Crystal runs the front, and she knows her customers and their orders when they walk-in. We heart the spicy chicken teriyaki and wanted to try the yakisoba, but they sold out so we'll have to go back. 🤷‍♀️ IHY tip: call in your order before to ensure you get what you're craving.
