The original downtown restaurant – complete with one of the coolest signs in Yakima and fresh from a remodel – The Sports Center has great bar food, televisions to watch any game, is family-friendly yet serves a stiff drink. Downtown Yakima’s newest brewery, Single Hill is quintessential Yakima. Their line-up is top-notch and varied, offering everything from sours to experimental series. We aren’t big IPA drinkers (shhhhhh!), so we love that there is always something for us to try. (For the record, we are told their IPAs are delish.) The vibe is relaxed and family-friendly. They also offer a line of fun non-alcoholic beverages, including root beer, cold brew, and endless bubbly-water. And if you’re hungry, you can grab a delicious taco from 5 Salsas taco truck, right outside their door.
