Trick-or-treating in the Barge-Chestnut area

The age-old tradition of trick-or-treating is alive and well in our valley – it’s one of our favorite holidays in Yakima, actually. And few neighborhoods celebrate as enthusiastically as Barge Chestnut. Thousands of kids are expected to wander down the streets, going house to house in search of goodies. We just love seeing all the many families out together. Most of the streets in the Barge Chestnut area are closed from 5-8pm to keep everyone safe. Keep an eye out for the little goblins and ghosts this evening. Happy Halloween!
