We lovelisted Fortuity Cellars back in May and it's exciting to see them continue to grow and change. Their new Wapato tasting room is coming along. A tip from our heart to yours: The Newsroom Yakima (at Chalet Place) is being revamped by new owner-operator, Caelie, to reflect their motto to "be good neighbors." As such, she has lots of local collabs up her sleeve, from coffee to beer to events. Not quite advertised: they've got a waffle machine, a beer and wine happy hour, and they're rolling out a food menu. Also, their space is available for events (the fee is a great deal: FREE, pending availability). The Newsroom will be posting their events to the Yakima365 calendar, so stay on the lookout for a Harry Potter-themed weekend and a zine-making workshop.
