Hello awesome people of Yakima.

It’s been a minute. We’re glad to be back in your inbox.

The holidays were the perfect time for us to take a breath and a step back – we hope the same for you. Now, we’re just as energized as ever to continue where we left off in 2019, sharing our favorite Yakima bits and tips with you so you can find your Yakima. If there’s one thing we’ve learned over these last few years, it’s that our valley is full of distinct and varied viewpoints on this lovely place. As the saying goes, there’s something for everyone.

If you’re new to Yakima365, WELCOME! This is a spot where we unabashedly love on all things Yak. We share our completely biased thoughts on everything, from restaurants to our favorite place to get our cars washed.

Everything we write about and share with you has been vetted, visited, obsessed over, and yes, loved by us personally. In short, don't look to us for objective reporting, that's not how we roll. Also, we are not paid for our opinions.

What we do.
We highlight our favorite local businesses and organizations, create locals-written guides to things like Downtown YakimaThe Fresh Hop Ale Festival, and getting outside in Yakima’s fabulous outdoors. (And more are on the way.) We host a free-for-all community event calendar. And, we feature things that you can't otherwise find on the internet. (You can check out some of our fave features here.) Lastly, we make some fun Yakima-inspired merchandise.
Who we are.
You may be wondering who, exactly, we are. We - Bridget and Lauren - are the mainstays here, but we love to share the like-minded voices of our friends, like Kemper Brightman (current transplant, good soul, and bartender at Norm’s) and Gina Prescott from Sagebrush Kids, who will be making regular appearances. In 2020, we’re looking forward to bringing even more local voices, places, products, and experiences to you.
What happens in 2020.
As we enter the new decade, we’ll be doing what we’ve always done -- sharing the good stuff of Yakima, building community, and uplifting groups, events, and people that make Yakima, Yakima. Look for our logo supporting these peeps throughout the valley.

We are grateful for all who have been following along with us on this adventure, and we look forward to continuing to celebrate our sweet valley with you.

Yours in Yaki-Love,

Bridget & Lauren

Winner winner chicken dinner! Is this your email address: H*******hut@gmail.com? No? How about: jaredoz***@gmail.com? Send us an email from that address by Friday, February 14th and we'll hook you up with free merch as a thank you for being a valued member of our community.

Not your email address? Maybe next time. In the meantime, we've got consolation confessions to soothe the loss.

Our winter confessions: Lauren is obsessed with ordering groceries on her Fred Meyer app and picking them up in her pajamas. (Pro-tip: tell them to skip the plastic bags when you order because you've got your own.) Bridget is into making alcholol-free cocktails with Seedlip spirits, but is really pining away for hot summer days and Gilbert Rosé on the patio.
